This is signed hand made, hand forged Indian hunting knife with bone handle, leather hide cross draw shoulder sheath with hide insert. Knife measures 14” overall, 9” stainless steel blade, 5” bone handle. Knife handle inscribed with knife makers initials PGK III.
I purchased this knife from a tribal member in Neah Bay, Washington. The seller told me it was made by his great grandfather and handed down through the family. I bought this from a man down on his luck but with the understanding that I would sell it back to him if he returned my money. I never saw the man again and that was twenty years ago. I had it appraised at the Northwest Knife show in Puyallup Washington in 2017 and it appraised at $800-$1000.
