Valley View Retirement Center is now accepting applications for their one-bedroom apartments.
Valley View is a modern three -- story building comprised of 40 apartments. The facility is equipped with an elevator, emergency system, in-house mail delivery, laundry facility, and secured building access. Air conditioned apartments feature fire sprinklers and emergency pull cords. Amenities include resident gardens, a pet area, and a community room for games, parties, and other activities.
Applicants must be 62 years of age or older. Income limits apply. The current income limits are $29,300 for a single occupant and $33,450 for a couple.
*Rents are subsidized and based on 30% of a household's gross adjusted income.
Applications can be picked up in the foyer anytime at 100 Cordelia Drive, Myrtle Creek, OR. Applications may also be downloaded from website at www.retirement.org/about/community-housing. The office hours are between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A management team oversees the center's daily operation and routine maintenance. Valley View Retirement Center is a smoke free facility.
Valley View Retirement Center is part of Community Housing by Pacific Retirement Services. It complies with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requirements for Section 202 Housing. Applicants must meet the income, age, and posted Tenant Selection Plan criteria.
