Plaza Retirement Center is a modern three -- story building comprised of 24 apartments. The facility is equipped with an elevator, emergency system, in-house mail delivery, laundry facility, and secured building access. Air conditioned apartments feature fire sprinklers and emergency pull cords. Amenities include a pet area, resident computer, and a community room for games, parties, and other activities.
Applicants must be 62 years of age or older. Income limits apply. The current income limits are $29,300 for a single occupant and $33,450 for a couple.
*Rents are subsidized and based on 30% of a household's gross adjusted income.
Applications can be picked up in the foyer anytime at 265 S.E. Plaza Drive, Myrtle Creek, OR or at the Valley View Retirement Center office at 100 Cordelia Dr, Myrtle Creek, OR. An application can also be downloaded from the website at www.retirement.org/about/community-housing. The office hours are 8a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A management team oversees the center's daily operation and routine maintenance. Plaza Retirement Center is a smoke free facility.
